I would watch it.

Positive
- Ball Placement is fantastic
- Short Area Accuracy is fantastic
- Quickness of Progression is great
- Quick Release when 1st read is open
- Good arm strength not elite
- Good down field accuracy
- Velocity is NFL tier
- Good IQ for collegiate
- Solid throwing mechanic, but lower body torque could be improved

Neutral
- Timing and Anticipation isn't impressive
- Holds on to the ball a little too long when 1st read isn't open
- Benefits greatly from YAC
- Need more 3 level passing. Too much short area passes.

Negative
- Pocket Presence is atrocious
- Footwork on Dropback is sloppy and not viable for NFL
- Mobility unable to provide willingness to be a dual threat
- Will not be able to improv at the next leave due to lack of mobility
- Eats unacceptable sacks
-Panics at pressure and backpedals

Ugly
- Overthrown and off target lead to critical INT
- Unable to bailout on pressure at the collegiate level. This isn't a fixable issue.
- Sack Machine

Best Offensive style fit: West Coast Offense

Supporting talent dependence on success: Upper Medium

NFL Depth Chart: Not Day One Starter, but potential Franchise QB if he have a proper support system to develop him. Would need a good offensive mind.

Ceiling: 10th Best QB with elite supporting cast and development support.

Draftability: High Risk Prospect in Top 10. Good for a team with no aspiration for quick turnaround and willing to gamble on Sanders.

Thoughts: Sanders is currently the 2nd best QB prospect in the [Incomplete] 2025 season.

Cam Ward is still the best of a weak position group, but I digress.

Sanders is probably an interesting prospect, because his rose the infamy was something special, but as more film gets produced. The flaws get ever present and more magnified.

What can flip him as a prospect is actually very little to do with actually passing. It's everything in the pocket that breaks it for me personally. He doesn't have the greatest poise and he's not playing against SEC caliber defenses on top of that.

So, once he gets to the off season. He most certainly have to work on his footwork and how he maneuver.

Do I have an issues with drafting him as a pure passer? No

Would I have expectations to contribute for 2025? No.

Would I be fine overall with his draft selection? Yes

Would I pass on him for a different position group? With how there is no superstar elite Edge or offensive lineman. Not currently.

Haven't been on this bandwagon, but havne't watched him play either. I enjoy Cam Ward more, but I also like the Bama QB too, very much a dual threat

The real QB to watch in that matchup was Avery Johnson, IMO. Mark it down, he is gonna be great one day.

I might be crazy but he reminds me a lot of Derek Carr with the way he plays QB

I'll boldly say not no but he'll no. The talent is average and the attitude and immaturity enormous. I'm literally a life long Saints fan and I'm 60, and I'd consider just quit watching.

It's really not that serious 😂. Solid prospect regardless

Yeah, I'm not really high on Sanders in that he looks like a mid-to-late 1st round pick to me and what appears to be his attitude concerns me, but if we draft him it wouldn't even make me consider not watching the Saints.

Don't mind the player.

Absolutely not a fan of the person.
I have really nothing against him but the potential for a circus is something this team doesn’t need when the payoff isn’t there to me at least.

He is not near the level of some past QB prospects to mitigate or eliminate those flaws.

The saints have still fairly limited resources and a QB is just not there right now when there are so many other needs to address and you’ve taken two QBs recently to try to develop. We cannot afford a (very) risky QB pick in the top 10.

All of this and I don’t even begin with the whole deal that Deion would NEVER allow his son to be a saint. The saints like it or not will not take that risk either.

I see nothing wrong with your evaluation but I don't think you can just look at one of his worse games. His physical attributes are not off the charts, but his pedigree and football IQ are second only to the Manning clan. Obviously, he's not coming here, and I am not predicting he's the second coming of Mahomes or the next HOF player, but the kid is more prepared for the league than most.

Good evaluation … but we need OL and DL with three of top four picks. I want to read those evaluations

I like Shedeur Saunders a prospect. I agree he holds on to the ball too long and has tendency to backpedal when pressured. I think this is the issue Caleb Williams is struggling with now. Not getting the ball out fast enough and taking the easy throws.

I believe Ward is QB1 in this draft. I think Shedeur is QB2. The list after that is a toss-up. I have not seen any games but I was impressed with Kyron Drones when VA Tech played the Miami Hurricanes.
