QB's for the 2025 Draft (1 Viewer)

I have to admit I'm not the best scouting guy around but I do watch my fair share of college ball.

Here is the list of the top 10 QB's one of the sports sites have listed:

I would love to hear if anyone believes these guys are good enough to demand a top 5 pick?

I am leaning hard to Jalen Milroe and Jaxson Dart

Not a single one of em is even worth a top 10 pick IMO. I don't see how any of em would be a top 10 QB, especially Milroe.

Milroe would be a great Ravens pick. Or the Saints to replace Taysoms role. He’s got beyond elite running skill. But it would be tricky having to pay two QBs top money. He’d have to agree to be a TE/RB….. otherwise he’ll have to be drafted as a Qb1. And only the Ravens suit him as Qb1.
A team with a coaching vacancy might hire Todd Monken from the Ravens, draft Milroe and turn him loose when he's ready.

I don't think its going to work. We're likely closer to running QB's going back to being sub-par and pocket passing QB's with timing schemes coming back into FOTM in the next couple of years.

Milroe is not a very good passer. More the Taysom role.

Wes Weeks literally bounced off of him. The dude is special with the ball.

Milroe is a special talent as a runner which makes it easy to dream on how good he could be if he can become a better passer. I wouldn't want to take a shot at that high in the first, but I likely would low in the first or high in the 2nd.

The problem with the guy is that his ceiling is really high, but he also has really high bust potential because you don't know if he can be developed as a passer. Worst case scenario you have a great change of pace and Wildcat QB. But the question is what pick is worth that and will some team go YOLO and take him much higher than he should go?

I agree with everyone else. As it stands right now, I can't think of any one of them worth a first round pick outside of Sanders (but I know he will get heat because of how polarizing his pops has been the past few seasons). That said, I would love to see how Haener and Rattler develop.

My question with Sanders is what is he going to do when he hits adversity without his dad to insulate him. Even with his dad at CU he hasn't handled adversity or criticism well.

None of these guys are worthy of a 1st round pick, to include Cam Ward. The Saints need to reinforce the lines, add quality depth and try to add a dependable WR1.

Ward and Sanders will probably go in the top 10. I am not sure if they are worth it but teams will have to gamble to fix their QB situations.

If we are going to keep Carr on the roster then Trading back from whereever we are or grabbing a pass rusher might be our best bets.

If I was going to take Milroe it would be later in the draft, with the idea to have him replace Taysom Hill. He has amazing potential but might be a while learning the pro game if you want him to be QB.

I feel like the narrative that this is a bad QB class has become a giant echo chamber. It is not as good of class as last year but I don't think it's as bad as what is being parroted. There's a long way to go in this process and things are going to change dramatically.

would rather build the current team and draft a QB in 2-3 years. This way you have a nice big playoff window with a qb on a rookie deal. With so many holes a qb now is useless. Spend money and draft picks building your roster, then bring in a qb. This gives him a fighting chance to succeed when he walks through the door. It also allows you to pay those stars around him while he is the cheapest he will be if he is truly any good.

To say that it's not as good a class as last yr is a big understatement. Last yrs class may very well go down as a great class depending on how JJ plays

As a Taysom type player. He's nowhere close to a Lamar or Jayden in terms of passing accuracy, awareness or reading defenses.
