Yea, but i bet you that hit remains in his head the rest of the game, and any of their other recievers. I'll take that trade as long as it's early in the game to set the tone and not late in the game on a crucial drive.

Coach Williams will TAKE that penalty from a player any day! That's what football looks like in his head! So that Ref threw in inadvertant flag, which, when reviewed shoulfn't have been thrown at all. Quddus could have KILLED Nix with a "Kill Shot" but used his arms in front instead.........to me, NO FOUL but I dont' count. That HIT does and I'm sure lingered with Nix for a few games! Certainly he was a no-factor for the giants from that point on IF he even returned to the game! Not saying I agree with putting players OUT, I certainly am against that however, hard, clean hits are a part of the game, or used to be.

Anyone notice we have rarely had any league explanations mid week about these calls like in years past? Is it because they are universally poor calls or something more dubious?

I say hit em like that ALL NIGHT LONG. Every play that they touch the ball. When the Pats won the Super Bowl against the Rams, Bellicheck told his players to hit Marshall Faulk every play whether he got the ball or not and it wore him down and he was a non factor in the game. I say do the same to Turner and every time the ball comes in range of any one of their recievers, hit them just like Qudus did. Every single time. They'll quit. And if we face them again in the playoffs, they'll remember that too and they'll be thinking about it on every play instead of what they are supposed to be doing. It's time to get in the Failcons heads.

really? That just straight up fired up the dome, and our Team - both offense and defense. Ill take those..the refs gonna call crap on Defense all day (not saying his hit was legal) so we might as well make it count if they do
