Question regarding future ownership (1 Viewer)

i wonder if this was the article that spelled the end for Payton with the Saints. he probably wanted an ownership stake which I think he actually deserved. he built this franchise and it may not be in new orleans if he didn't show up here in 2006.

I'm hoping Matt Bowers grows his car dealerships to the point where he can afford to buy the team... so get your autos from a Matt Bowers dealership near you. :melike:

/free plug :hihi:

Stuller is not on the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list, but they did a write-up on Stuller in October 2024 estimating him at about one billion. He could definitely be part of an ownership group.

Tilman Fertitta ($10.6 billion) and Graves ($9.5 billion) are each potentially wealthy enough to be majority owners of the Saints (worth approx $5.5 billion in 2024).

EDIT: Valuation of the Pelicans is about $3 billion. So for one person to be majority owner of both the Saints and Pelicans -- using strictly current valuations -- they would need to front roughly $4.3 billion.
I’ve seen estimates with Stuller up to 7 billion.
