Quick look at next years schedule: looks good! (1 Viewer)

Definitely going to the Denver game. Do some snowboarding at Breckinridge, go to the Denver game and then hit up a concert at Red Rocks Ampitheatre.

Still a long way off, but I'm going to do my best to make it as well. :)

Yeah, that's one I have already talked to my Denver buddy about making it out to attend. Would be a nice trip to say the least.

By the way, we finished 3rd in our division.

I was waiting for someone to point that out. Looks like we'll play Washington and San Francisco in addition to NFC North and AFC West along with the usual from the NFC South. Don't know where we play Washington or SF though. And I don't think playoff results will affect the schedule.

We play Washington in DC at FedEx Field and once again, the 49ers travel to the Superdome. I'm planning on going to the game in DC and for the annual pilgrimage to New Orleans, we're looking at the Green Bay game.

Yeah, we finished third!!! That probably is good because we get a revenge game against the Skins... Let's see if Alex Smith from the niners is any good next year.

Denver tailgate

I'll be there in Denver as well. Lets get a tailgate thread going today!! :hihi:

I too will be at this game, i was borned and raised in metairie, and have lived in denver for the last ten years, I WILL BE AT THIS GAME... I actually work at invesco field and am about 95% sure i have a parking pass waiting for me(will pick it up on Feb. 16th) which is our end of the season party. Just to clear the air, I have NEVER rooted for any other team than the saints, and I ALWAYS wear at least 2 articles of saints wear under my uniform, and ALWAYS wear my saints jersey to the end of the season party as well as any other work related functions.

We will finish as the second team in our division, this means:

We face the other 2nd teams in the NFC:
- Cards
- Giants
- Vikings

The division teams: AFC West and NFC Central
- Chargers
- Broncos
- Chiefs
- Raiders

- Bears
- Packers
- Lions

And of course our division:
Bucs
Foul-cons
Panthers

I know this season is now starting to come together but I just wanted to take a quick peak at next year.

We did not place 2nd in the NFC South, so we do not match up with the Giants (2nd place in the NFC East). The Panthers were 2nd in our division due to the tie-breaker (better record vs. NFC opponents). The Saints were 3rd in the division, thus will match up with the NFC East 3rd place team...the 'Skins.

NFL Radio has been going on about how the personnel in San Fran does not fit the offensive scheme of Mike Martz. That should be interesting. On another note, this morning, Dan Reeves and Randy Cross were talking about how "hands on" Falcons owner Arthur Blank is even though he doesn't know anything about football, making decisions about personnel, attending all the coaches' meetings, etc. Now THAT is something I hope continues.... Sounds a LOT like John Mecom.

:)

The only reason people listen to Blank is because of his money, if he had none, people would tell him where to take a hike. He alone is responsible for running the Falcons into the ground, keeping McKay around is a monumental blunder. Expertise in one field doesn't translate to another. I hope we get to pocket those two games every year though. I am glad Tuna is gone to the fins, and I sincerely hope McKay is around. :D
This ensures another quality coach like Marty ball doesn't come in our division. Bet the Panthers sign Matt Moore to a long term extension, that kid has some upside. Jake probably will be a backup in a year or two.

I doubt they will give back the Giants game as a home game, have they done that before?
