Rage Against the Machine at Voodoo Fest!! (3 Viewers)

i agree with jacob...i had this discussion with a freind a few days ago....i don't agree with the things they say most of the time, but they just rock.....their music transcends de la rocha's politcal rantings

plus, they rock yer face

I don't know if they can be taken too seriously but they do kick ***. I never got too into the political side of their stuff but I do like the idea they convey about questioning authority and thinking for yourself.

If I quit listening to music or movies based on the political stance of the artists I would miss out on some serious talent so I try not to take anything they say too seriously.

Rage freakin' rawks and Zach's lyrics rawk just as much.

Side note.. how many of you guys are getting the Weekend pass and how many are waiting for single day tickets. I hear those don't go on sale until September. I don't want to wait, but I know I'm only going to be able to go down there for the night/day that Rage is playing.

Will they sell out if I wait to order the single day pass when they go on sale in September?

Rage Killed it

Rage killed it last night. The crowd was so hyped and it was like a powder keg. The minute they started testify the energy was just so high.

Best show I ever saw - when they ended the show with killing in the name of and you had the whole crowd screaming ______ you we won't do what you tell us.....that was awesome.

I taped the whole thing on my digital camera. It doesn't look great, but it sounds pretty good. I'll upload it soon and then post a link.

i wonder if they will ever release a DVD of that performance.....

Too bad they don't do the same thing as Jazz Fest and Primus (I'm sure you are aware) and sell the live recordings of the shows. I'd definitely be in for that.
