You can't fully assess, but it seems clear that especially behind this OL, he isn't getting the ball out on time or quick enough. He still has plenty of talent to develop, but almost no rookie QB are ready when they are making their 2nd start. Rattler is no exception, but he does need to get some experience so he can grow from it.

He looked fine in the hurry up and when his receivers actually catch the ball. When he’s not being held back by bad players around him, or a play not to lose mentality of a game plan. He looks like he totally belongs.

He's got talent but he is playing like a rookie. However, the game plan is doing him no favors it's just too conservative and they aren't even trying to roll him out and get him on the edge. He was fine when they let him get in rhythm in the 2 minute offense and he still flashes great throws in this ultra conservative game plan.

He's not ready, but no rookie is in his third start. Especially on a team with so few healthy weapons left. Having Shaheed's speed with Rattler's arm would really help open things up. And as I say this, Johnson drops a pass after Taysom almost turned one into an Interception earlier.
