I'd have been happy if he got the full 55 years. Is that harsh? Perhaps. But it's how I feel. People like this don't deserve to be on the street.

There's only one place that's right for this type of loser. Behind bars. Put him behind bars, and keep him there. Where he can associate with people of like mind.

Wah! I'm an addict! It's not my fault! Yes it is your fault.

Not harsh at all. 100 days and a $4000 fine? Really? I hope there is a civil suit coming where the victims can get paid what they deserve from this garbage and his family.

There is absolutely no downside in keeping trash like this locked up for a couple of decades, especially after he initially fled.

Baltimore City State's Attorney Ivan Bates released a statement, saying: "Today, defendant John Callis has pled guilty to three counts of second-degree assault after having spent 105 days in jail, ensuring that justice has been served for the victims and reaffirming our commitment to holding all offenders accountable.

Go let him hit you for $4K if you think justice has been served on this one, "Ivan." What a joke.

We're in agreement. My tolerance for this type of behavior has diminished over the years.

In particular it really irked me the "it's not my fault, because I'm an addict". No ownership for his behavior whatsoever. I don't want to see this person on the street. What will he do next time. I'm sure there will be a next time.
