Or they have given them time to gauge market value before the players make a decision so that any pay cut would be fair market value. If by cutting them, the agents say they are bottom level free agents, a 3 million payday from the saints not too bad. If the agents think they can get 6 mill and a 15 million bonus no way do they agree to the cut. Or maybe they both have accepted and we haven't been told.
