Me: Of the QBs coming out, I think Williams will be the most disappointing QB in their first season. For what ever they give the bears for the pick. Someone will by the hype.

Per Pro Football Talk NBC Williams has been said to want partial ownership in whichever team selects him in the 2024 NFL Draft. đźš©

While some are saying it’s not true and it’s only a rumor, to date Williams has not come out and publicly said it’s not true either.

There is additionally supposedly a shortlist of teams he wants to play for. MSN ran an article three weeks ago listing the Cowboys, Raiders, Vikings, Giants, or 49ers as being the five teams. đźš©

The last time we saw something like this was back in 2017. That’s when UCLA QB Josh Rosen came out predraft in an article by the New York Post and said, “I’d rather be a lower pick at the right team than a higher at the wrong team.” Rosen went on to play for six teams and now he’s out of the league. He became a bust.

Williams painting expletives on his fingernails in the Notre Dame and Utah games in 2022 is concerning. It brings up the discussion of Williams’ decision-making and professional standards. Someone in Williams’ position has children looking to him as a role model. NFL teams will have to ask themselves if they want someone painting messages of this nature on their nails for the world (and their opponents) to see. 🚩

Back-to-back losses against no. 21 Notre Dame and no. 14 Utah? đźš©

Yeah, if I had the choice, I’m looking for the best mix of physical talent, professionalism, and smarts I can get. I question his professionalism. He’s too dramatic and emotional and a bit of a “me” guy. That works in college, but won’t cut it in the pros. And I’m getting some Ryan Leaf vibes from him. Even with a top two pick, I’d be letting that guy be another teams gamble.

Lets get this right:

A kid, who has done nothing in the NFL, wants ownership stake in a billion dollar business. GL with that.

I have a island for sale in the middle of the Atlantic if you want to believe that also; just venmo me 10K.

He won't get that since it would be against league and union rules.

it's all smoke, he's going first overall.

It is different kind of motivating you have to do in the NFL now, w/ players w/ 10,11 ,12 million $$$ from NIL money. They are already distracted from football, living the good life for a yr or two. "Me" guys don't work hard enough.

But, that is a different conversation. What I am saying is the risk/reward is to steep for me to give up what will be asked by the Bears or who ever. Perhaps 1st over pick would be worth it. But, we just watched what the Panthers did w/ Young. I don't see "can't miss pick" pick with him. I said the same thing about Young last yr.
