Religious persecution, or overbearing regulations? (14 Viewers)

Closest topic I could find for this…

"In the email, which contained multiple grammatical errors, Walters wrote, “We are in a dangerous time for this country. Student’s (sic) rights and freedoms regarding religious liberties are continuously under assault.”

Yes, this country is in a dangerous time when the school district superintendent doesn't have proper grammar, or even know the email app will correct your grammar for you...

... maybe he's got AOL? :hihi:

Usually and I have to confess I fall under this past category myself (so I can't throw too many stones from my partial glass house) when most people send out e-mails, texts, or replies in Internet discussion forums littered with numerous grammatical, spelling errors, it falls under two categories: they wrote these messages or dictated them when they were very angry, upset about a particular issue (or issues) and end up " scream-writing"--writing a letter in the context as if they were in middle of a screaming/shouting match where one is more concerned about letting off steam and emphatically getting their point across, and doesn't give two sheets, System about grammatical errors and would likely tell me or you to go fork ourselves if we pointed it out to him.

The other possibility is that he is indeed just phonetically challenged and that he lacks a decent grasp of proper, correct use of vernacular, linguistic expression and his grammatical skills leave a lot to be desired.

Personally, I think this person falls mostly under category 2, with maybe 10-20% of inspiration from the first category.

FWIW, why are we resurrecting a 15-year old thread dating back to the Obama administration and before most Americans even knew about an upcoming, groundbreaking series adaptation called Game of Thrones?
