Report: ESPN to Replace Joe Tessitore, Booger McFarland in Monday Night Football Booth (1 Viewer)

well booger gets to see his son play in pittsburgh now

Give me:

Steven A Smith
Mike Greenberg
Mel Kiper

Rather 10 Boogers than 1 Stephen A

He started off by talking about having faith in Chiefs RB Spencer Ware, who is doubtful for the game with an injury. Then he called them the “San Diego” Chargers and discussed the matchup between Hunter Henry (“and the way he’s played this year and effective as he’s been”) and Derrick Johnson.
The problem: Henry has been out all year recovering from a torn ACL and Johnson was a member of the Raiders in 2018 until he was released in October:

Shouldn't matter who calls the games really, you should be more into the game than the commentators....All of those guys are good at what they do, you can draw your own opinions from what you see. That's just me though....

MNF is just a victim of oversaturation. Once the crown jewel, now it is the caboose of the football weekend.

Not gonna rip Booger - he was a good studio commentator on the SEC Network. They took a chance on him but we all found that his persona did not work for full games and he should probably stay in the studio. Tessitore is who he is, not close to being an A-teamer, but not the worst guy.

If MNF can't get a stable, sustainable likeable crew, then they should have a different celebrity-laden crew every week.

As Dick Gregory said - Love is man’s natural endowment, but he doesn’t know how to use it. He refuses to recognize the power of love because of his love of power.
In the words of the great warrior poet, Huey Lewis...

You don't need money, don't take fame
Don't need no credit card to ride this train
It's strong and it's sudden and it's cruel sometimes
But it might just save your life
That's the power of love
