I mean, why not? This would be the most Jets move ever.
Way too many qualified candidates out there that deserve a shot instead of them stepping backwards and into a past failure. Their former star player Aaron Glenn would be a great place to start.I mean, why not?
He’s probably the only person to not treat the Jets job like a prison term.
I bet Rex will want to be paid in crypt-toe currency.Foot joke
He'll certainly put his best foot forward.I mean, why not?

Past failure? Go look up what he accomplished. I believe he went to 2 afc championship games in a row? Not a failure imo.Way too many qualified candidates out there that deserve a shot instead of them stepping backwards and into a past failure. In defense, he’s also 46-50 as a Jet HC.Past failure? Go look up what he accomplished. I believe he went to 2 afc championship games in a row? Not a failure imo.
I agree he made the jets fun with all the foot jokes and drama. Taken further, the NFL is way more fun when big market perennial failures like the Jets/Giants, Cowboys, Bears and Falcons are decent enough to have a chance. Watching their fans melt down when they come up short is hilarious.Wish they would. Most other Jets fans don’t want him back but I think they’re crazy. He took em to the AFCCG…..way more success than they’ve had with anyone else in a very long time.
Folks think the Jets are bad now.Bruce Coslet is also available.
