From what i can see....There seems to be a progressive movement that appears to be hell bent of pushing America away from the traditional values that made this country so great and are trying to align the US with a more socialist 'euro' model...The very same model that hasn't stood the test of time and is imploding in front of our very eyes.

I guess there are a few peeps that are more than a little concerned for the future and are prepared to do what ever it takes to help return the country to it's more traditional roots....


BTW....'Churchill' was considered to be something of a "nutbag" during the early 30's

Nope....read what i wrote again.....I'm Saying the 'more socialist model' several European countries adopted, has not stood the test of time...Surely you don't believe that countries like Greece, Spain, the UK etc have always been as socialist as they have been recently?.

Greece is already ****ed...Spain is well on it's way and the UK along with many other Euro countries are on the brink, although the UK may or may not be turned around by the new Conservative Government. It's going to be a tall order considering the damage already done...There's going to be a world of hurt over there for the next few years as the new Government slash public spending and try to restore some common sense back into British politics.

But it's not just about economics ....The resultant loss of freedom and civil liberties during the 'socialist period', especially in the UK has been astounding. The whole point of a Nanny State, is for Nanny to take on full responsibility for the welfare of every single member of her congregation and the only way Nanny can do that is to have complete control of what goes on in the nursery, just to ensure you don't "poke your eye out" with anything.

I'm sure if you had to stay there for a few years, you may end up having a little better understanding of people like Rick Barber

I have a question....how do you know FOR SURE that if they overthrow this so-called "socialist state" that they will return the country to "the traditional values" and not just set up a fascist state where if you don't agree with their beliefs, you will be "exterminated?"

Please define these "traditional values" of which you speak so highly.

at least i know enough to know i don't know it all, and i'm more than ready to question a candidate's claims and look it up

If you had ever lived in a "socialist state" you would know that in a lot of area's, there really isn't a great deal of difference........Fascist's tend to impose their will on the people with a big stick...... and socialist's use someone else's carrot along with a smaller stick ....In both cases you end up doing exactly what the Government tells you and you'll pay through the nose for the privilege....

I guess the fact that this notion is... 'for the moment'... still a relatively foreign concept in America is a testiment to this country's "traditional values"...that's not to say it's 'all' been good....but you'll struggle find anywhere where it's been better....
