'Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head' singer dies at age 78​

Damn! I really liked his songs his 2 best hits "Rain drops keep fallin on my Head" and "(Hey Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song". I remember when I was 6 or 7 he was in Charleston for some reason and sang Rain Drops at my t-ball game in around '70 or '71.

Another great singer that died way too early. Whenever I am driving through a heavy rain storm Eddie's song "Driving my Life Away" runs through my mind.

He was one of my dads favorites. I know he loved a rainy night but only a few of his songs caught on with me. I thought “You don’t love me anymore” was a beautiful song though.
