Turner had a pretty good game today

Rizzi was telling him that he’s been waiting a long time for Turner to turn a corner. Save the physical stuff for the opponents

I really like Rizzi to a point were I think he could make a good head coach long term.

I hope he continues to prove it. TBH one thing I’m really loving is how he’ll cuss talking to reporters. As tacky as that sounds, he seems like he likewise carries an attitude that he’ll open a can of whoop arse if a player gets out of line and fully support, love and go to bat for a player who gives his all. I really like that in a coach. Even if he’s not the best at game planning and adjusting during gametime. I’d rather a passionate imperfect coach over a emotionless nerd who gets it right. But I suspect Rizzi is the former with good game planning. We just beat a team with a winning record for the first time in 2.5 years.

As soon as the game ended…..Rizz bounced into the field and made a bee line to Peyton Turner.

It looked like he (by body language) was giving it to him big time.

He was intense directly on PT for about 10 seconds.

But, both finished with a big hug.

Could anyone decipher if he was mad, or extremely thrilled with PT?

I though Rizzi got a little too excited and almost fainted.

Rizzi said in the postgame that he got on Turner for celebrating with 30 seconds left. Then Turner gave him the shove to celebrate when the game was over. Rizzi said he has C5 / C6 issues and he got a stinger and his arm went numb. Got in his face but all is good.

I think some are discounting how much force is behind a Turner push. I saw that guy pancake a tackle with one arm earlier in the game. He is a large human who is extremely strong.

It was all really weird. The legs buckling was long after Turner pushed him and just after Saldiveri hit him on the shoulder.

We can't even get a win without something weird going on.
