Rod Hood Signs w/ Cardinals--official (1 Viewer)

The Raiders are seriously considering Johnson. So are the Lions and Browns you can also throw in those 5 teams who are trying to trade up for him.

Hood would have been a HUGE upgrade. Truth be told, he may have just wanted to play in Arizona. Unfortunately, this almost locks the Saints into taking a 1st rd CB. Of course, that being said, he may be cheaper and more talented than Hood.

true, but i would have said the saints have to take a CB or LB 3 out of the last 4 years in the first round, but it never happened.

cleveland might not pass him up now that they have lewis and you dont know if a team is going to try and trade up to get him. I mean if moss gets traded oakland might take him you never know. Just remember last year at this time every mock draft had bush going to houston.

Cleveland only signed Jamal Lewis to a one year contract.

So signing Lewis does not guarantee that the Browns won't be drafting Peterson.

And the rest of your argument is bascially a reach with you hoping that Oakland takes CJ or hoping that someone trades up to get him so that Tampa can't get him.

Good, Cardinals probably overpaid for him.

Hood is a solid cover guy and nickel option, but he's yet to be starter..

problem is CB is one of the hardest positions to transition from college to the NFL . even if you have very talented CB there are still a liablity if they are starting. It would benefit more to get a veteran starter and groom a young Cb and then hopefully they can take over

So who is still out there? Nick Harper, Tory James, this Walker guy they brought in from the Giants... Anyone else that is starter quality?

Yeh and it is also a reach for you to think that calvin is a lock to be a buc. If he goes there fine and if he doesnt well that is the NFL draft for you.

And do you have solid connections within those organizations to confirm this?

Calvin Johnson is hands down the best player in the draft...

if the Raiders don't take a QB..I think it's pretty certain they'll take the top rated guy on their board...and that'll probably be CJ.
