Ja’Tavion Sanders, TexasAny solid TEs for 2nd round?
I like Graham Barton OL from Duke as well. He is more of a center, but can play anywhere. At least we are on the same page. With their 1st pick in the 2024 NFL Draft the New Orleans Saints pick
JC Latham OT out of Alabama. Roll Tide.
Do NOT allow whomever picked Davenport Turner and Foskey anyhwere near the war room if it’s an edge. Please for the love of God.After we benched the bust, the line played better.
We need a LB, Safety, DE, another DT before we spend ANOTHER first on a offensive lineman.
And damn sure not on a center "that can play anywhere" stop drafting players and immediately moving them to another position
It’s gonna be a quadriplegic from Univeristy Of Phoenix if it’s an edge. That’s DA’s prototype. The player will also not love the game and be more brittle than an old cell phone screen.More likely to go edge rusher if available
Even more likely to trade up 3 spots for a player from Imabust University DIII

Peat can’t even stay healthy. Even in the last game, he got hurt towards the end. Penning is going into year 3 and can’t even beat our 3rd stringer. Saints need to stop drafting player from no name school and expect them to be good. Terron Armstead was a outliner. He had a amazing combine and was an athletic freak. Penning not so much as he was getting school by our 3rd string dline in practice. The team is in need of OL help and it showed once the patchwork OL started playing better, Carr played better.
I think Penning is salvageable and Marrone can do it. How quickly folks forget he coached up last day draft types into valuable Pro-Bowl starters his first gig in NOLA.
Resign Peat to play LT, move Penning to Guard and let him maul people ala Q. Nelson (Colts), keep McCoy, see if you can upgrade RG in FA. If that means trade Ruiz for a 7th round draft pick or a bag of chips then do so. I'm all for drafting on OL and inserting him into the lineup. Marrone knows what translates in the NFL, but I think the bigger issue along the line the last couple of years are the lack of mental acumen, health, and physical talent.
Io do not disagree that LB and safety help is much needed. In my notes yesterday, Werner and the safety play wound up high on the 'needs improvement' list. That being said, you have protect your QB.
