Probably has nothing to do with any of that. Every year we rotate guys on and off of the 53-man roster depending on injuries and other factors. There's a good chance either or both of these guys come back later.

Seamster was cut yesterday according to Mike Triplett, so we have an open roster spot.

Saints waive DB Sammy Seamster, who was promoted from the practice squad Saturday as an emergency backup. Not sure who will replace him yet. They could re-sign on-again, off-again WR Joseph Morgan, among other possibilities.
