Pretty sure GB restructured his deal in the preseason - as a condition for his return - which gave up their right to franchise him after the season.

His void doesn't go into affect until 2023.

They will hold Rodgers hostage. He's not a free agent and if they do not get a deal they like... They'll probably run it back again next year.

It's ok, there are a lot of Saints fans who have distorted memory regarding Taysom's actual performance during his starts last year. It was a drop-off from the Drew Brees-led excellence we were accustomed to and expected last year, but compares pretty favorably to all but the very best of what we saw from Jameis this season.

youre not wrong. granted he did have Thomas. so at the least if they do land OBJ we can see a similar performance, maybe better from him going thru another offseason to learn and getting way more reps.
