Saints are flying Kafka and Weaver in for 2nd interviews [interviews rescheduled to January 24-25 due to snowstorm in N.O.] (48 Viewers)

Kafka's approach has been notorious for a long time - some would say it is unnecessarily complicated, but it frustrates and confuses the defense because you don't know where it is coming from, which principles they are following, who is doing things, or why they are doing it to you.

All I’m saying is a guy shouldn’t fail up. Get someone from a winning organization that helped his team win. Not the opposite. If he would’ve been the saints OC we would be replacing him. I like Rizzo better

Did I miss something this past season? Did the Giants and the Dolphins have overpowering offenses?
While I'm not jazzed by either candidate, Weaver's specialty is as a DC and they've done well on that front this year. Also comes from strong roots as a Raven D coach.

"Miami ranks 3rd overall in total defense (Vic Fangio and the Eagles rank #1). Miami also ranks Top 10 in rushing defense, passing defense, and scoring defense this season."

P.S. Both candidates' only other interviews have been with the Bears, who have apparently stated they are looking for 'a leader of men'. Take that as you will.
