I love the Bresee pick. If he is given a little bit of time, brought along properly, and he stays healthy, he could be one of the best DTs we've ever had.

At 40, My first choice would be LB/Edge Derick Hall or Byron Young. My second choice would be CB/FS Brian Branch. My third choice would be RB Zach Charbonnet. My fourth choice would be T/G Tyler Steen or Jaelyn Duncan. My fifth choice would be WR Jonathan Mingo or Marvin Mims.

At 71, depending on who we take at 40, my first choice would be DT, Cam Young. My second choice would be RB Chase Brown or Chris Rodriguez Jr.. My third choice would be Edge/DE Tavius Robinson. My fourth choice would be CB/FS Riley Moss. My fifth choice would be T/G Wanya Marris or Joey Fisher. My sixth choice would be WR Kayshon Boutte or Charlie Jones.

Branch I can see, but not your other options (at all).
Esp Young at 40 (whose name you spelled wrong), here is Brugler from today on him:

113. Byron Young, DT, Alabama (6-3, 294)

A smart, assignment-sound run defender, Young is quick to read blocks and put himself in a leveraged position to make plays from different alignments. He has the technical know-how to free himself as a rusher, but his secondary rush and finishing skills are subpar. Young doesn’t play with desired explosiveness or mass, but he can break down the rhythm of blockers with his length, awareness and skill. He is scheme-diverse and will provide immediate depth as an NFL rotational player.

Grade: Third-fourth round

If Torrence falls past 35 than go and get him. Should be doable without sacrificing our 3rd round pick. At 71 Spears. That's a must for me. Great RB, high character guy, a lifelong Saints fan and a position of need.
Spears is a medical risk. And he’s a small RB who won’t stand up to loads of carries. He isn’t a bell cow type of back. I don’t see the Saints picking him.

Jalin Hyatt is still on the board at 40, do we pull the trigger? He's got the confidence:
“I have a lot of respect for a lot of receivers in this draft, but I’m a competitor and I feel like I’m the best wide receiver in this draft,” Hyatt said.
Hyatt won the Biletnikoff Award in December, given to the nation’s top receiver. The Tennessee standout caught 67 passes for 1,267 yards and a nation-best 15 touchdowns.

I'd rather take Tillman but wouldn't be mad if we indeed pick Hyatt. But it's a bit of a luxury pick cause we already have two speedsters with Shaheed and Olave.

Yea we really need another pick in this range. WR: I know that Shaheed flashed and showed promise, but is he a legit number WR2 now? Id like to get more clarity on this. Olave is for sure WR1 and MT cannot be counted on yet. We have so many needs. DE, RB2, WLB, Safety, OG, TE, WR3, QB2 At some point we'll need to address QB. Hooker would be almost 30 years old before he plays assuming Carr mans the position for 2-3 years. So It might be best to take a late flyer on either the TCU or the GA Qb or Levis (if he continues to slide)

Speaking of QB's ... I'm not a big fan of this whole QB class and as you mentioned: Hooker would be nearly 30 years old when he hits the field. Never wanted the Saints to draft him and he definitely has his flaws. If they target a QB, I'd be good with DTR in the 5th. Think he has good tools and I think you could coach him up. He can sit and learn behind Carr and he's nearly 3 years younger than Hooker.

Didn't spell it wrong. Byron young the DE from Tennessee.
