Spears is a medical risk. And he’s a small RB who won’t stand up to loads of carries. He isn’t a bell cow type of back. I don’t see the Saints picking him.

He doesn't need to be the bell cow back. That's why we signed Williams in free agency. We just need him to take Kamara's snaps to operate in space while Kamara is suspended.

I don’t know if smoke is the right phrase, but Saints certainly are still interested in another TE (see Foster Moreau). Washington would fit in well with our jumbo approach.

No doubt, with the loss of Kaden Ellis we’re now a thin at LB. Drew Sanders at 40? I dunno wat the Saints think about him, but awhile back, I actually had us takin him there!

The 6’4 235 lb transfer from Bama only started 1 year as a 4-3 backer at Arkansas. But in dat one season, he took his game to whole nother level, n balled out there!!!

Still a lil raw, of course, but IMO, he’s got lotsa upside! I think he’s waaay ahead of where Kaden was as a rookie! In fact, I wouldn’t b surprised if he can come in on some of the same packages Kaden did, n play well.

I really like the Sryacuse OT/OG tape. I think hes pro bowl guard early in his career. I like Robinson the Georgia TE. His blocking like having a extra Tackle at his weight. Hell if wanted can project him and grow him into a tackle. He is a fluid athlete although not explosive with good hands. I think you can run more 3 receiver sets with a guy like him.

If Torrence falls past 35 than go and get him. Should be doable without sacrificing our 3rd round pick. At 71 Spears. That's a must for me. Great RB, high character guy, a lifelong Saints fan and a position of need.

Would love Torrence at 40.

Branch is almost purely a zone Safety.
The Saints play man defense, rarely relying on zone.
I don’t see Branch as a fit.

I'd be stoked if the Saints somehow landed Torrence and Spears. Anything after that would be icing on the cake.
