Well, I found out that I am, in fact, sitting in the so-called "dream seats" after all. After reading the review on ebay, I'm not too thrilled with this concept, but I doubt it will be as bad as that guy made it sound. Normally I would never buy tickets too close to the field, but my buddy won these at an auction. Anyhow, it will just be great to see the Saints in person again, as they don't come anywhere near me too often here in Western New York.

Good idea to meet somewhere to ride in together. I'd be willing to pitch in 5 or 10 towards a parking pass. I may get dropped off at the game and picked up( no drinking and driving for me) But I'd contribute to a spot for the tailgate "vehicle" maybe meet it before to bring some beverages/snaks. Or contribute to the fund for supplies!. I'll look into a "meeting spot" since I am relatively near the stadium(25-30 min)

Don't worry too much. I sat in those seats for the last Saints-Redskins game at FedEx field. They weren't that bad. Mine were on the 40 yard line, and I could see everything fine. If you are in the end zone it might not be as great, but you can always watch on the screens if you can't see.

It's not about the viewing, it's about the cheering!

There has been a discussion that the 200 level tickets tend not to be good seats. We are sitting in section 114, so if you can get in that area, you will be near 10 of us.

Cool - thanks for the heads up. I'm just not sure how the view will be from the corner seats vs. the sideline seats. I guess it's close enough to the field to not make that much difference. I'll probably just go with the corner seats so we won't be alone in a sea of Redskins fans...

any definitive word on what is happening for the tailgate thing, or is it still a work in progress? I would LOVE to be there for that!

Actually, the tickets that we got were the very last in section 114 at the good price. We ended up having to get some tickets more spread around the section than I wanted. You might want to try getting some tickets www.sportsvacations.com (our website) as we have the lowest margin over wholesale.

I think all of the 114 section seats are gone, but there are still some section 115 tickets...

Tickets have been purchased! I am having them shipped here to my house. I should have them sometime next week. They were $5 more than they were when I had them priced out, so I paid about $50 extra for the entire batch (10 tickets not including me)...

You guys make the call if you want me to ship them to you certified mail once I get them? If you're local, we can meet up to watch a game or something and I can just hand them to you personally.

We haven't worked out parking yet either... Anyone know the best way to handle that?

We can certainly work out a parking pass too. I have an SUV that can fit 7 (relax, environmentalists...it's not one of the huge ones) but if I fit 7, won't have much room for anything else.

I going to bet that by the beginning of the fourth quarter we can all plan on moving to the area just behind the Saints bench. I think most of the Redskin's faithful will be heading for the parking lot by then and we'll have the stadium to ourselves.
