The most unlikely outcome in that scenario is the saints winning against green bay. Even more so than the Giants beating ATL.

Dude, it's Atlanta. The Giants can beat them. We had our OL healthy and their DL took it to us. Atlanta is very beatable.

The Saints play in a terrible division and the NFL practically allows everyone in the playoffs now. It's about a 45 percent chance every year now. So to go 4 years without an appearance is amazing in a bad way.

Why don't you? Better draft position is a valid excuse. Tanking just sets a loser culture and will make it harder to get sign free agents and coaches.

I agree on tanking. I hate it. I just don't see a point overachieving in getting clobbered in the first round of the playoffs this year. Would I be happy? Sure, but there's no business in the Saints seeing the playoffs this season.

Guts? Yes. Are we healthy enough? Most likely not. But again, anything can happen in the playoffs. Goff and Gibbs could both get injured in the first quarter.
