I mean you can think whatever you want but for a team to not offer their lead back ANY contract during their prime years tells me all that I need to know.

They knew his success was dominated by the OL and getting an upgrade would be easy. And they were right.

30 is considered old in RB years. JW was 28 his first year here and they got someone 2 years younger. Both that and they knew how good the OL performed can be true.
