NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints defense always seemed one step behind the Baltimore offense during the Ravens’ 35-22 victory Sunday in the Superdome.
The Ravens averaged 4.2 yards on first down, which helped them convert 57 percent (8-of-14) of their third downs.
Baltimore rushed for 137 yards — including 109 yards from running back Jamal Lewis — and Steve McNair completed 74 percent of his passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns.
