Saints Fans in San Diego! (4th Down INT Celebration Video and Trip Pics) (1 Viewer)

My Saints fan estimate, at least 20,000 of us, probably more! On each of the levels on the Saints side of the stadium (field, plaza, club, and upper levels) It was easily 3-1 or 4-1 ratio for us against their fans. We talked to one Chargers fan who was sitting on the home side and he said it looked like a home game for the Saints on that side of the stadium. All black and gold except for some blue chargers jerseys.

I had an amazing trip! Lets start with the Friday flight from New Orleans. It was full of all Saints fans including Brittany Brees and their 4 kids. Very nice person, my dad actually had right by them and helped her with her bags when we arrived. We also saw Drew's house because my dad's friend knows him, he's his neighbor two houses down.

Next was the Saturday night party at Kristy's sports bar. We took that place over and made it reach capacity! Lots of Saints and LSU fans! (Pics in following posts in this thread)

Sunday was the best though! Had a huge tailgate and of course rocked the house! Here's some pics and videos!

Looks like quite the successful trip, on many levels. Going into another team's stadium to root for my own team is something I'm not sure I could ever do. Fan behavior is too unpredictable. So, I commend you on your bravery as well!

I like going to games that I know will have lots of Saints fans. The Chargers fans we met were nice. But yea on the Saints side it was a home game for us. Felt just as safe as the Dome.

No offense to the real Chargers fans out there, but that stadium has to be one of the easier to fill with visiting fans considering they're inability to sell it out and subsequently constantly being talked about as a team that's on the verge of moving.

Regardless, it looks like the WDN showed up in full force and were definitely louder than the Chargers fans were (on TV at least). Loved being able to hear "defense" and "WHO DAT" chants on television at the end of the game. Didn't even have to turn it up to hear it.

Good job to the OP and everyone else who attended!

Awesome pics! There were whodats all inside that stadium and outside partying. I felt right at home in section c59!

Some tidbits.....

The order takers were great. One asked me for my autograph. She thought I was on that show Duck Dynasty! Hahahaha! I'm not btw....another thanked all of us Saints fans for showing up and ordering lots of beer. She told me that when the Jags were there she had two orders the whole day. I told her we were from the South and we like to drink!

I had no idea that the sailor kissing the girl statue was that big, it is HUGE!
