The fun isn't quite as fun now, the shine a little less shiny. Pressure and losing have a way of pursing lips and dimming luster and -- make no mistake -- the pressure on the Saints has increased significantly because of the losing.
It has caused the Saints to enter playoff mode a little earlier than they'd hoped.
Not the one-and-done type. But not that far removed, either.
"There's a lot of football left in this season, and a lot of important games left in this season," Coach Sean Payton said.
