Saints final injury report(friday report) (1 Viewer)

Wth happen to PT

His ankle still isn't 100%. He's been playing with a boot on it.

You can see the boot on his left ankle in this pic:

I really hope Hargrove and Shockey can play. Hargrove is one of the defense's most high energy players and a vital part to the team's DT rotation. Shockey has been injured all season and thus hasn't been a huge factor. But having Shockey in the game can really serve as a decoy. We know that Dave Thomas won't be playing so if Shockey misses, that just leaves Tory Humphrey and Jimmy Graham. I'd really like to see Shockey in the rotation for decoy purposes.

As much as I'd like to see all these guys back I would rest them all if there were any questions about them. Get them ready for the Second Season.

Ha ha, but look again. You can see the boot extending above his shoe.

When someone is said to be "in a boot" following an ankle injury, they're more than likely in the walking boot. When someone is playing a game with an injured ankle, they're more than likely in the ankle brace. You can not play in a boot.

I see the medical police are out and about in this thread. However, it's Pierre himself who says he's been playing in a "boot," which has taken a few points off his effectiveness:

"This Monday night game, this past game, I think I showed people that, hey, I'm close to being back. I feel that I'm not back, but I'm close to being back to 100 percent," he said. "You see my ankle? I'm wearing a big boot on my ankle, man. I'm not used to that. That takes a couple of points off of me. But pretty soon I'll be off of it, hopefully, get that groove going completely, and I'll be ready to go. I'll be like my old self."

So go tell Pierre he's not playing in a boot.

PT doesn't need to play in this game.

Get him back to 100 % by the first playoff game and let's go from there.
