Saints front row tickets for Vikings game (1 Viewer)

those are not true fans trying to selll tickets just to come up financially.
I have a co worker who has had season tickets for 30 years and he started selling his the moment we started winning. I cant understand how someone can do that as a real fan.

wait,,,,so this guy has had season tickets for 30 years which consisted of 9 winning seasons since 1979, yet he's not a "true fan?" How long have you had season tickets? I've had season tickets since 2000 and they're were times when those "true fans" wouldn't even take a free ticket when I couldn't go.

bills have to be paid... people have done much crazier things to try and pay them than sell saints tickets
Maybe you shouldn't own season tickets if you can't pay your bills! I agree with the poster stating that these are not true fans. Face the facts, people are greedy and that's it! I could sell my tickets to the Vikings game for 500 a piece, but I wouldn't sell that ticket if my house was in foreclosure! And the 30 year fan well that's not a real fan eaither in my book! You people will not be happy until the Saints decide to put a PSL charge on season tickets. Maybe that's the only way the true fan will be able to get rid of the Scalper!

if he is tight on funds, and has had his tix for 30 years are you suggesting he should just give them up instead? or sell one game, and pay for the whole year possibly? one seems FAR more logical. 7 out of 8 games is way better then 0 out of 8, for a true fan.

Whatever dude, if he has been a season ticket holder for 30 years then he can afford the tickets and his bills! If not then someone didn't plan for their future very well and I don't feel sorry for them and yeah they should give them up to a real fan because 99.9% of this sort of thing is about making a quick buck and that's not a true fan! I have never sold a Saints ticket in my life. I have had things come up and given my tickets away to friends and family expecting nothing in return. Oh, but you know what I can afford my tickets and do those things.

That's pure crap! If it weren't for those 30-40 year season ticket holders, the Saints might not be in NOLA today. I love when people tell me how to spend my money.

dude you need to relax a little. i dont know about others but this is the toughest times finacially i've experienced as a working adult. havent worked hardly at all this year, but i still found ways to come up with $3200.00 for my season tickets. not about making a "quick buck", but how can you hate on someone that sells tickets if its for the sole purpose of buying more tickets, thats the only reason some do. i will ALWAYS have my season tickets, i dont care if i have to rob a bank to pay for them. i keep four , sell three to every game. a lot of people do the same thing. i almost feel entitled to make the extra cash considering 5 years ago i couldnt GIVE tickets away. I had to beg people to go to the game. i dont feel sorry for anyone that has to pay for marked up tickets now, 4 short years ago they had plenty of tix avail for $144.00 for the SEASON. Hell, we pay $160.00 for four PARKING SPOTS now for one game. You gotta pay to play.

It's not that I really care, because I have my own tickets and I use my own tickets, it was just my opinion! Relax, I am totally relaxed! Just don't be surprised when you have to start paying PSL licensing because of season ticket holders selling more tickets than the Saints box office. That's what worries me the most about seeing all these tickets being sold at such high prices. So instead of paying 3200.00 for your seats, you may have to pay 3000.00 per seat and then buy your game tickets on top of that and that's every year! If you think of it that way, then you may have a change of heart! Not trying to offend anyone, it's just an opinion and Geaux Saints!

People are going a little nuts with this one. I'd love to be there, but I just can't afford the $300 to sit in the terrace.

I bought NFL ticket for the first time this year. :)

And to reply #2, I got the XLIV on my tattoo because I have faith I'll be putting a XLV right next to it this year!

The cost for my season tickets have become unaffordable if not for the fact that I can sell one primetime game. These "true fans" who did not buy season tickets when they were $150 (per season) were the same fans are unwilling to pay face value for preseason games. I've had tickets since 88 and can't remember how many times I couldn't give away regular season tickets and now I'm critized for trying to offset the cost of the same tickets that cost three times what they did 10 years ago.
