Yeah no kidding. What we were expecting here, for Kafka to be like “Yeah I toured the place; it wasn’t all that. I don’t trust that ‘Mickey’ guy. Who the hell even goes by ‘Mickey’ in 2025? It was amateur hour.”?

Nothing against the guy but I’m hopeful for one of the other two fellas. No to Kafka.

It amazed me how many disregard MM's record at Dallas as not accomplishing much. Before MM's 3 12-5 seasons, they were 8-8 and 6-10. They suddenly went from not very good to at least pretty good. Somebody must have done something right.

At this point. It doesn’t matter who I want or even who we all here want.

Please football God’s just give me an individual with a plan, the mental fortitude to attack the plan, the willingness to adapt the plan, eagerness to grow, and the awareness to understand the importance of commanding a room and leading a group of men.

That’s it. If we can get close to that we can right this ship sooner than later.

According to a number of reports, if Kafka becomes our HC, he’d be rolling in Don “Wink” Martindale as our new DC. That would be an epic get for us. Wink primarily runs a pressure based odd front, which means our pass rushers will go from oversized power profiled EDGEs to more streamlined stand up rushers in the mold of TJ Watt, Micah Parsons, & Nick Bonito.

I think a move like that could/would also breath new life in Cam’s game. He’d probably become a 5T in Martindale’s D, which seems like a better fit for him these days. I also think a guy like Alontae could blossom into an All Pro in Wink’s scheme. I personally think Alontae is better in the slot, & what’s more, i think he’s got all the makings of an ELITE SAF. But who knows…we’ll just have to wait & see.

Okay, they like him. He’s coached bad units. People like Dennis Allen in coaching circles. He doesn’t need to be the head coach of the New Orleans Saints because he’s well liked.

He attracts players, so how many great players has he attracted to NY? Saquon Barkley probably liked the guy all the way to a better roster.
