Our defense held the Seahawks running backs to 19 carries for 57 yards, 3.0 ypc.

I wonder when Rankins is gonna play. This defensive line has looked extremely solid IMO, so I can only imagine how they will look with him. He was one of our best pass rushers last year.

That is some serious depth. But we went from having our deepest linebacker group to having to sign our huge bust Stephone Anthony. I’d love to see it click for him and we get something out of that 1st round pick. I like Ray Ray Armstrong since he was a safety at Miami, so he should be alright in coverage I would think. I’m just glad Craig Robertson will likely finally get some PT since I still think he is one of our better backers.

I wonder how long Tre’Quan is gonna be out cause we need him. He was looking good to start the season, so I hope this doesn’t set him back too far.

My biggest concern is Clapp. Tom and Clapp were very promising backups on the OL and we have neither now. So, first man off the bench is Easton. Then who? Its not like Peat and Armstead won't come out for a few plays. Omameh?

Why would Peat or Armstead come out for a few plays unless hurt?

But yeah, I assume it's Easton. Dude needs to start earning his check anyway.

I trust they won’t rush Rankins, they had Okafor come back from his last year with the same medical staff. If they didn’t think he was close they’d have IR’d him.

Side note: we’re 12-1 with this officiating crew since ‘06? Where have they been?!?

Don't forget Michael Thomas' comments after that meeting with the Cowboys last year. Mentioning how he's going to have to workout more (saying he was being held a lot).

Malcolm Brown has actually played well IMO, and graded out decent for the Texans, and Seahawks games. As I recall the Saints Run D' made some crucial 4th down stops against the Seahawks, the problem has been giving up Edge contain on outside runs... the Ends losing contain.

The depth is a work in progress when he needs a spell. Onyemetta is working back in after a 1 game suspension, Tuttle has stepped up a bit, and Edwards does need to step it up a bit but he hasn't been healthy up until now. The whole rotation will improve once Rankins is ready to come back.

Tyler Davison is just a marginal depth player, I believe he's barely logging 50% Defensive snaps for the Falcons through 3 games.
