I think it's early in the season and the Saints are a veteran team that didnt' have much turnover(outside of coaching), so it's not taking them as long to figure things out as some of the other teams who are good, just not good right now. I'd still put them behind Eagles, 49ers, Lions, Rams, and Packers for now. Ask me again at the end of October. If you have the Saints top 5 in the NFC, how far off of their # 6 ranking would you have us?
Chiefs and Bills ahead, because of perennial results. Chargers are off to a 2-0 start but not showing a lot on offense. Same with Steelers.
NFC, who is playing better right now? Bucs are in the discussion. Are you more confident in the Seahawks and Vikings? Niners will get it sorted out but they have a loss to the Vikings.
Curious how you piece it together.
For me the 1st month of the season is arguably an extended pre-season for teams. That's why I never put too much stock in facing good or teams that were good the previous year early because you really don't know. What people were calling a rough stretch is based on last years team, not their current iteration and teams change A LOT year to year.
I just need to see us sustain our current level of success b4 I start cementing us.
