Yep and Underhill wrote yesterday that they have looked at trading up for him but right now the cost is too high. Doesn't mean they would if it wasn't, but they pretty clearly like him so it's possible if he falls far enough they might move up for him. Some of that will likely depend on the interview and a possible top 30 visit.

My oldest son is a Miami fan. I've watched Ward play a good bit. I've not been a big fan. Is he talented, yes. But he makes those stupid throws at times. Across his body back over middle of field types of throws. Not real mobile if that's what you like. He may turn out good, I just don't see it

Underhill has also been saying they like Cam, but they don’t think they will be in a position to get him. He also says they like Sanders, but not at 9, more at 40.

I don’t think this is a good year to take a quarterback early in the first round, but wouldn’t be opposed to one in the second or third — or late first if there was someone who slid that they liked.

Regarding Sanders, right now it would be a shock for him to get out of the top 10, but maybe that’s not how teams are looking at him? Or maybe he’s who the Saints really covet, and what they’re saying about him and Ward is a smoke screen?

Just about everyone out in the football world, is claiming after the first 32, Its any body's guess because after 10 the talent skills/measures fall off the cliff.

I honestly think Brooks could scramble better. Until Haslett tried to make him a pocket guy. I'm not a huge fan of a running QB. But you do need some mobility. Ward has a good arm, but that can get you in trouble. Favre liked those over the middle throws and we as Saint fans know what happens to those

I thought it was McCarthy that was pushing Brooks to stop scrambling and stay in the pocket.
