My main concern is that they trade their first round pick away for some aging, overpriced veteran who DA thinks can save his job.

They won’t trade a 1st being 2-4.

Mickey has job security, even if he’s taken out the GM role he will still be in the FO. They’re not going to make any rash moves, if they would have it would be done already.

Not a cap person but assuming that DA can't get the team turned around, are the Saints sellers before the trade deadline? You figure we have to be? Lattimore maybe gets you a second day pick. People won't like it but AK should have value as well as I think he's gone next season anyway. Gonna eat some dead cap but hard decisions need to be made. The franchise might not have wanted a rebuild, but it needs to done at the expense of some of the only real value we have.

The play is declining every week, so maybe. Will need to improve as a team to win 6+ games. What happened in the 2nd half on Sunday was several steps backwards on Defense. So yeah, without serious improvement you might be looking at a 4-6 win season. Not saying the team can't improve, just saying it will have to if it expects to save anything from this season. Doing the same thing they have been doing the last 4 games is just going to keep the slide going.
