Terrible signing. That guy should be begging for a job. But we just shell out 51 milllion to him. Things never change.

All good buddy.Ok, I misread your intent. Mb
Trust me we all want him in double digit sacks, but I feel the pay is reflective of his production and potential. The top end guys are making over double what young is.Not a fan of the signing. Not because of his effort. (I get that he has some low effort film out there. But I think it's overstated from what I saw last year. And I respect how hard he worked to be ready for training camp last year when people thought he might miss the start of the season.) I don't like it because of the production.
Took it down for now. Completely misread a text from a team source and jumped the gun. My bad. Please hope this is true
Hendrickson is that guy you speak of. You definitely make a legit argument. I look at it like, most college kids come into the nfl and get injured. It takes them a couple years to learn their body’s and to be professional in taking care of it. I think CY went thru a few years of this. However, you can’t argue that coming off that injury in SF, his game improved significantly with the Saints. And he’ll be trending to improve in 25. A freak of nature on the upswing is exactly who you want, imo.Measurables yes, but I’ve said it before, there is something with this dude that doesn’t allow him to reach his destination. I’ve seen guys who were not freaks of nature, not so good measurables, not much by the way of techniques, but they had hustle and a desire, that allowed them to reach their peak. Why can’t this freak of nature reach his? You can’t teach heart and desire. Either you have it or you don’t. Give me the Granderson type guys who works their butt off for a shot
It's a testament to our bad talent acquisition at Edge. Because I want to respond to you by saying, "Yeah, but surely we can roll out a career backup and also give them 740 snaps and get something close to 5 sacks." But looking at our roster, I can't find that player.Trust me we all want him in double digit sacks, but I feel the pay is reflective of his production and potential. Do you all think this deal comes together if we had signed Ward or Adebo?
Fans are down on him because they don’t have faith in Saints personnel decisions and many want to start over. Some fans are super down on him cause of stats but the guy really forces a lot of things on the field and offenses have to account for him every time he’s on the field in a big way. I’m really excited to see what Bo Davis turns him into. Plus with him and Granderson already on the roster, EDGE is far from a need. Not discounting Payton and Foskey for depth
I can truly see us going corner+edge or edge+corner with our first two picks this year. It's a testament to our bad talent acquisition at Edge. We were backed into signing a starting DE in free agency because we can't rely on getting an Edge early in the draft.
He will never improve if he gives up after losing a rep. When that happens, he rather watch others hustle to make the play, without trying himself. Thats a level of selfishness that Washington and SF found out. SF mostly by the half *** effort he gave them in the 2nd half of the SB. That D line was stacked and he was the weak link and then they let the dude walk bc they didn’t want his nonsense anymore. Some people see it and others still think they can fix someoneHendrickson is that guy you speak of. You definitely make a legit argument. I watched every snap of every game. I saw a few times where if he would’ve maintained high energy the play would’ve worked back to him and he could’ve made a play, So there’s that. But I wouldn’t say he’s a chronic slacker. He will never improve if he gives up after losing a rep. When that happens, he rather watch others hustle to make the play, without trying himself.
