I agree. Carr has actually been pretty solid. He's not the problem, IMHO.

After trying to digest this loss, I am more angry today than yesterday. It's one thing to lose but it's another to shoot yourself in the foot. I told my brother Saturday almost verbatim, "We are gonna lose tomorrow but we won't be dominated. We are gonna take the lead late in the game but lose by a FG with under a minute left." I KNEW that's what we were gonna do. Because we cant just lose, it's important for us to get our hopes up FIRST, make us believe that we will win, then lose in some boneheaded irresponsible manner. SMGDH this team is mind-numbingly infuriating in its ability to disappoint us.

I can gree with most of what you post. It is crazy how they can just do stupid things at times.

That being said, I still think this team can turn it around. Our biggest problem is not having really good experienced backups is certain positions. When we get an injury it’s not really next man up it’s I sure hope he can hold up a little. If we can get healthy I feel we can play great football but it’s going to take time for us to get healthy. Possibly 2-6 games worth. Not sure we can hold out that long. If we continue playing Kamara like we are he will be missing multiple games also. Dennis needs to change defensive tactics in the 2:00minute drills. He has a bend but don’t break philosophy but that does not work “DOES NOT WORK” when all they need is a field goal to win. Everyone in the stands and on TV knows their going to move the ball down field on us in these situations, does he think the other team doesn’t know it?

Actually I thought this was the best way to go. Keep the ball safe to try to run the clock out. Derrick was more than likely this best option as it did not call for transferring the ball between players. I know the second run was only to run time off the clock. Felt they would change it up for that TD run, which they did.
