No shade to Carr, but he was a DA addition and trading him or mutually parting ways so the Saints can rebuild might be in the teams best interest because Carr I'm sure wants to win now and we are no longer on that trajectory, let the Rattler or Haener era start and lets build this team up around the potential of those players.

Yep. Carr isn't a bad QB but he's not the future and if you are going to rebuild your QB should be an upside player, not a solid veteran. If there is a way to move on this coming year or the next, they should do it.

That being said, I would let the next coach make that decision. And although I like Rattler and Haener, I would take a very close look at the QBs in this draft and I'd probably take Cam Ward if he is there when we pick. He needs to work on his throwing and getting the ball out on time in structure, but he has really high upside.
