--Saints quarterback Drew Brees finished with 349 passing yards in his team's win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, marking the fifth straight week he's topped the 300-yard mark.
In extending his streak that began with an Oct. 29 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Brees became the sixth quarterback in NFL history to throw for 300 yards in five consecutive games.
Steve Young (1998), Kurt Warner (2000) and Rich Gannon (2002) share the league record with six games each. Brees joins Joe Montana (1982) and Kerry Collins (2000-01) with streaks of five games each.
--While he was pleased with another 300-yard passing day, Brees was more impressed with how the Saints protected the ball in the win over the Falcons. The Saints had no turnovers for only the fourth time this season.
