Of the haul the Saints made in the 2017 NFL Draft, tackle Ryan Ramczyk might feel a little overlooked. That’s changing in a big way.
The 2017 NFL Draft for the New Orleans Saints will go down in history as one of the best by any team in NFL history. Drafts produce stars. That’s a given. But what the Saints did in 2017, hitting on so many players, is unheard of. Marshon Lattimore, Alvin Kamara, Marcus Williams and Ryan Ramczyk, just one year in, are some of the best in the NFL at their positions.
The jury is still out on Trey Hendrickson, Alex Anzalone and Al-Quadin Muhammad but they may end up in that mix as well.
Ryan Ramczyk has gotten some attention from the media. But recently his name is popping up everywhere. On Friday, July 20, Bleacher Report ran an article naming a player “will explode into stardom” in 2018 at each position in the league. Ramczyk, in this article, is billed as the offensive tackle most likely to hit the next level. From the piece, “Right tackle is more important than ever, and Ramczyk is already one of the best.” ...
