People felt like Yiadom was just a guy until you started to see him perform on Special Teams and on defense, DA has an eye for DB's and Wright might be the next underrated DB to perform on this unit, 6'2 193 with a long wing span he could develop under DA's vision and tutelage.

Yiadom was a former 3rd round starting CB. He had starting experience on 3 different teams before coming to the Saints. A DB system like the Saints’ who knows how to maximize high ceiling DBs was a perfect match for Yiadom. Hicks and Jean-Charles are 5th & 7th round drafted CBs who bounced around practice squads since their first seasons. They don’t have the same history of significant CB snaps as Yiadom.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Allen, Woods and Robertson are really high on one of, or all of, Hicks, SJC, and Wright. Chances are one of them should develop into a quality CB under our DB coaches. Wright would get my vote because of his size/speed combo and how great he looked in man coverage at Oregon St. We’ve usually had an experienced vet CB or early round pick penciled in at 4th CB going into camp though.

This is one position that DA can seemingly take chicken sheet and turn it into chicken salad.
