According to Nola.com, The SAINTS announced the signings of running back Malcolm Brown, defensive end Scott Patchan and center Nick Martin. To make room for the signings, the Saints waived punter Daniel Whelan, offensive linemen Derek Schweiger and defensive back Jordan Miller

I actually think it’s a very solid “under-the-radar” type of move. Brown is a proven vet and he runs with power and explosiveness.

Interesting that the Saints have signed Ozigbo and now Brown… and also worked out a bunch of RBs like David Johnson, Vito, Jordan Howard… etc…

I’m pulling for Abram Smith to beat out Dwayne Washington for that last RB/special teams slot. Being a former college LB, I know Smith can put in work on STs. I’m sick of seeing the Saints waste a RB slot with Washington is a special teamer ONLY.
