Saints signing former pro-bowl RB Lamar Miller, per Schefter (1 Viewer)

Latavius is averaging 3.6 yards a rush, almost a full yard lower than last year with the Saints. Tony Jones was averaging 4.1 until he got injured. we made the right call and went with youth and lower cost. Jones just got injured is all.

Probably not a good sign for Washington. Haven’t heard anything since he got hurt. Good to have quality depth though.

Lamar is washed up with torn knee....I guess he the best out there. Is Adrian Pederson available?

They probably want to preserve Washington mainly for special teams. Payton pays a lot of attention to special teams. Washington will see a limited number of offensive snaps but almost, if not all, the special team plays in my view.

They need a real backup for Kamara. This move says more about Ozigbo and the extent of Jones's injury than about Washington IMHO.

I think he means Marsellus Wallace.

He's so old he gets medieval.

Miller is just being signed to the practice squad. He isn't coming in to take anyone's spot on the 53 at this time.

3.6 YPC > 0.0 YPC which is what Jones is currently averaging while injured

And I like Jones, but the best ability is availability.

Man...not good for TJJ's injury. Lamar has unfortunately been washed for 2-3 years now. Hopefully we don't need him and Kamara brings us to the promise land singlehandedly.
