I was hoping we'd keep him but if we're being objective a 3rd round pick for an oft-injured CB, even of his caliber, is a good deal for what this team currently is. Unfortunately with Adebo's injury we may have two entirely new starters on the outside at corner next season but I supposed we'll see how it plays out. As for Lattimore, I wish him success except when he plays against us.

He probably won't. 6th and 7th rounders have around a 10% chance of being good enough to make a roster (and keep in mind that punters and kickers probably skew that higher as they get picked later)

If Loomis is still in his current position, non-retired or kicked up outta football operations after black Monday hits or shortly after, this organization is in deep doo doo. He needs to be kept across the causeway, away from this rebuild. No confidence in him once so ever. I hope Gayle feels the same way.

I hope they completely overhaul the scouting department.

To me improving our scouting and drafting is the biggest thing they need to do. I'm not a big fan of Loomis right now, but I think he can change, stop trading up all the time, occasionally trade down, and stop kicking the can until we are a contender again. I'll be happy if he is no longer the GM, but I can live with it if he stays and adjusts the way he has been doing things. (Which he mostly has for the last 2 years.)

On the other hand, we have to improve the scouting and player evaluation. And that likely means Ireland an Parenton need to go along with bringing in new scouts.

It would also really help if our new head coach has an eye for talent.
