Referencing Andrus' post #3, with picture of Kliff Kingsbury playing QB for the Saints, wearing #12....I honestly have ZERO recollection of Kingsbury ever being on the roster, let alone playing in a game. Can anyone refresh my memory? When did Kingsbury play here? For how long? How did we get him?

I can remember some pretty obscure QBs playing for the Saints, including but not limited to: Mike Buck, Doug Nussmeier, Todd Bouman, Billy Jo Tolliver, Steve Walsh, Richard Todd, Heath Shuler, Mark Bulger......but do NOT remember Kingsbury. Can anyone enlighten me please?

As I recall, he was on the practice squad in 04’ and was cut in one of the rounds of preseason cuts in 05’.

That image of him - I believe - was from the preseason game vs the Ravens in 05’ and if I’m not mistaken that was the last game in the Dome before Katrina and the last game before the game against the Falcons over a year later.

I think…that’s also the game where Adrian McPherson mistakenly lined up to take a snap under guard. But I could be wrong on that one. It’s been a while.
