Hey Guys,

It has been a while since I have been a regular on SR.com, but I am back and I have a mission. I have moved (very unwillingly) to the Atlanta area, but have kept my season tickets. Yes, I will drive 16 hours to make as many games as I can. I will die-hard for the Black n' Gold.

I would like to extend an offer to help any way I can when the B&G descend on the ATL. I would like to help organize a SR.com Tailgate Party. If anyone is planning on coming out, and would be interested in getting this going, let me know!

Welcome to ATL. I'm a transplant from the MS Gulf Coast, been here 19 years. Its not all bad. We see them once a year in the GA Dome (can ALWAYS get good seats). And most years we make the 4 hr trek up to Charlotte for the Panther game. I hear there is a big gathering of Saints fans at Copelands at Cumberland each game, but I haven't checked it out yet.

I plan on being there if I can talk my boss into giving me that weekend off. I just changed jobs due to being laid off from my old one and I have no vacation to use and usually have to work weekends. I think I can get it off, but not too sure yet. If I do go, I will be in my normal tailgating area. Here is a map. I will be in the blue lot on the map since it is the only place they allow a bus to park. I will know soon if I will be there or not.

Im considering this trip as well, made it to cincy preseason made it to denver (darn that was fun) have tickets and res already for the monday game in nawlans. man this is is going to get me divorced(theres a upside to everything)

Ok..it's a go!!!! I found out today that I will have Sunday and Monday off so I can make the trip. Plan on leaving New Orleans late Saturday afternoon after work. I'll be in the blue colored lot by 8:30 Sunday. I have a tent, tables and chairs. My bus has a stereo system for music. If anyone needs to see what I plan on setting up, you can see it on my myspace page at the link below. I realize that everyone may not want to pay $20.00 to park in the RV lot, so you can park in the lot colored yellow for $8.00 and walk over. The prices may have changed since last year though. I do not plan on bringing anything to cook, so maybe someone else can get that together. Since Jeff is the main one setting this up, I'll leave it up to him, but I'am willing to put up. See everyone early Sunday...WHO DAT!!!
