Yeah I would say a WR of his ilk likely isn’t stepping into a NFL season midstream and making much of an impact. This isn’t exactly like riding a bike.

If we get McCoy back then suddenly the offense looks like some version of what we had in Weeks 1 & 2...even if it's against the Browns...the bye week is a lot more exciting

True but...It's not like Olave had alot of targets or production in the first two weeks, and MVS did a decent Shaheed impression last week.

So, not the same offense but even if it's some version of it...I'm excited for post-bye week football

Yeah no reason to sign him at the start of the yr but with the shape of our WR corp right now and the fact that he's familiar with DC picking him up for the rest of the yr might not be a bad idea

I read somewhere that people close to him think he does not want to play football anymore and that has more to do with why he is not employed than ability. I believe it was on X that I saw that at some point.

Who knows if that is true.
