At least Kamara looks okay..this was today.
Just looking at the pic, I thought it was a "Cam visiting a sick child at the hospital" kind of thing...

Agree, but the odds of actually doing anything in the playoffs may not be enough to risk the health of Kamara, Armstead, Davenport, Taysom, etc. I mean, I have no idea, but you have to think the staff at least thinks about next year. We have a virtual all star team on the combined injury report/IR list. Next year should be big.But the odds of making the playoffs aren’t that terrible.
We are on a 3 game losing streak and still sitting at the 7 seed. Obviously if we come out of the next two games (Bills and Cowboys) at 5-7, playoffs are probably looking grim. But outside the division leaders and the Rams, nobody in the NFC is really separating for the 6-7 seeds.
I get what you’re saying, but the odds aren’t stacked against us at all. 3 more wins couldn’t get you in, 4 more wins will get you in.The flip side to a lot of this gnashing of teeth is “why risk the health of your best players when the odds are so stacked against us making the playoffs”? Some of the calling out of individual players for sitting out injured is just frustrated rants I’m sure. But still.
Side note, glad I “lost” my season tickets due to construction and glad I didn’t take the bait on the expensive club seats.
The loss of players to injury this year has been unheard of. We aren't even close to being the same team that started the season. There's no way that Payton could build a winning team with what is left. The flip side to a lot of this gnashing of teeth is “why risk the health of your best players when the odds are so stacked against us making the playoffs”? I know that NBC is going to be hyping the Saints as still being a formidable opponent for the Bills tonight, but they really should consider playing Taps to start the game instead of the national anthem.
I'm glad that you didn't have to pay big bucks to watch the collapse this year, but the Saints are coming back in the next few years and I hope you are able to get some seats again once they are competitive again.
