Saints Wednesday Injury Report - 4 Saints sat out (1 Viewer)

9ers will have the full arsenal of offense weapons (Manningham, V Davis, Gore & Crabtree). D will be tested big time.

Crabtree isn't going to play. He's just now trying to get back into football shape. Week 13 is his target return.

They'll have the same weapons that got held to 9 points last week at home.

Add Davis, he left in the 1st quarter last game. He makes a big difference. He has caught 7 of their 9 TD passes.

If KV doesn't play SP will look like a genius yet again for resting Jenkins and Harper in a game he knew was winnable. Which my friends it was.... Having these two back will win us this game against the Whiners....

The question I wanted to ask was do you guys think this will be a "bat" game? We haven't had one yet.

Forget the bats! This is going to be a brass knuckle brawl! The Niners just came off of a lose at home to the Panthers. So, both teams, us and the Niners are fighting for playoff positioning and neither of us can afford to lose another game. This my friends will be a genuine fight to the death!

I don't mind if Lofton sits out. Humber had a good game last Sunday. I'd actually like to see Hawthorne and Humber man the middle. It'll also let Lofton heal up better.

I can't wait till Walker gets back. He looked good out there the games he played in.

Hopefully Jenkins is back this game. We need him with Vacarro being out.

how the hell is Reid limited and could possibly play when his 2 concussions were both worse than Vaccaro's??

Well that is very good to hear. Keep hope alive!

Kenny needs to sit out. We will need him down the road. JMHO ... but another knee to the head too soon and it could be bad.

You forget, we have Harper back which should negate Vernon Davis' effectiveness. :idunno:

I keed! I keed! :ezbill:

All anyone has said about Harper is how he has trouble in coverage and is slow and now he is the key to covering one of the fastest TE's in the league? Harper may help out in run support but he won't be covering Davis.

Harper is not nearly as bad in coverage as advertised. He just has bad ball skills. Harper has in fact virtually shut down Vernon Davis twice in his career. Once in 2010 and then again last year. I would be okay with Harper in bracket coverage with someone else over the top. Even single coverage from time to time. Let's just not make it a habit.

I thought the injury report would be much worse than it actually was and I'm pleasantly surprised at that list. We should play well against the 49ers. Stop the run and we can blow them out.
